Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour
Shift: Monday to Friday schedule from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.
What's a typical day as Inbound Material Handler? You'll be:
- Loading and unloading freight from trucks safely and efficiently.
- Breaking down and separating incoming shipments for proper storage.
- Moving products to designated storage areas using appropriate equipment.
- Operating forklifts, electric/manual pallet jacks, and reach machines safely.
- Assisting in maintaining warehouse security and overall safety.
- Verifying product locations using the OMNI system.
- Picking and assembling orders for shipment according to company standards.
- Conducting product counts and verifying shipment accuracy for damage or discrepancies.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Performing additional duties as needed, including labeling, sorting, packing, and repacking.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Possess 2-3 years of warehouse or material handling experience (preferred).
- Demonstrate basic math, reading, and organizational skills.
- Are proficient in operating cherry pickers, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and warehouse management systems.
- Can lift up to 50 lbs occasionally, 20 lbs frequently, and 10 lbs constantly.
- Are capable of frequent stooping, crouching, reaching, handling, and balancing.
- Have strong depth perception, field of vision, and near acuity for accurate material handling.
- Can communicate effectively and follow verbal instructions.
