Responsibilities
- Develop design themes for our vehicle and hardware products from sketch, prototype, through production
- Work closely and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver completed, on time, and high-quality vehicle and hardware designs
- Create high-quality digital and physical presentation materials that communicate the design intent at any phase in a project and present design concepts to internal teams and executives
- Contribute to the evolving teamwork, design culture, and processes in the studio
- Create product designs that align with the Zoox vision and brand
- 4+ years of edgy/innovative Automotive or similar transportation design studio experience
- Mass production, concept, and one-off vehicle or similar product launch experience
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design (or similar) is required
- Experience managing design projects and processes from concept to production
- Ability and desire to work and communicate well with internal, cross-functional, and executive teams
- Hands-on experience and collaboration with industry vendors and suppliers
- Experience working across partner groups such as engineering, product and manufacturing
- Basic Autodesk Alias modeling skills
- Experience with autonomous driving hardware and sensors is a plus
