Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

This permanent opportunity is located at our Austell, GA facility, where we recondition and engineer high-performance components used in paper production.
We are seeking an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to play a critical role in diagnosing, assembling, and maintaining large-scale paper rollers and related mechanical systems.
Key Responsibilities-
Examine and assess the condition of industrial paper rollers.

Measure bearing clearances and install a variety of bearing types.

Interpret complex engineering drawings and schematics.

Dismantle and reassemble large mechanical assemblies with precision.

Use measuring tools such as micrometers with proficiency.

Operate hoists, lift trucks, hand tools, and power tools safely and efficiently.

Use overhead cranes, forklifts, and tow motors in daily tasks.

Contribute to fabrication tasks, including welding, machining, and surface finishing (experience preferred).

Assist with industrial painting tasks as needed.

High school diploma or GED required.

Demonstrated safety-first mindset and ability to promote a strong safety culture.

Prior experience in machining, welding, or industrial painting is a plus.

Must follow all PPE and safety equipment protocols.

Willingness to expand skill sets in areas such as millwrighting and welding.

Strong communication skills with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Proven organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Competitive hourly pay: $20–$27/hour, based on experience.
