Kelly Services is working with a production supply client and seeking an Injection Mold Operator in Akron NY.  This position is Contract to Hire, $17.75/HR, 40-hrs/week, Mon – Thu 11am – 9:30pm

Job Title: Injection Mold Operator

Pay Rate: $17.75/HR

Work Site: Akron, NY

Position: Contract to Direct

Work Shift: Mon – Thu 11am – 9:30pm

Job Duties “At-a-Glance”:

• Experience with mold changing equipment
• Ensure safe, productive, quality machine operations and take corrective actions
• Production scheduling for expectations, inventory control, and operations rates
• Coordinate with Molding Manager for mold change schedules
• Maintain an accurate inventory of spare machine parts
• Proactive decision making and effective reaction to acute situations
• Ensure machinery is performing according to company's policies and procedures
• Able to muti-task work with competing priorities

Work Responsibilities and Preferences

• HS Diploma or GED
• 1 – 2 years of injection mold changes, processing, and modifications
• Proven time and attendance work history
• Using hand and measuring tools (tape measurer, sockets, heat guns, sharpeners)
• Strong mechanical aptitude is a plus
