Kelly Services now hiring ! Join a leading medical manufacturing company as an Injection Molding Set-Up Specialist! We're looking for a skilled professional to manage machine setups, drive process improvements, and train junior operators in a fast-paced, high-quality environment.

Location: Pomona, CA 91766
Pay: $24.75/hour
Schedule: 3rd shift - Sunday – Thursday, 9:30 PM – 6:00 AM with overtime as required 

Key Responsibilities:
•    Set up and changeover injection molds, vision systems, and part-handling robots.
•    Upload molding programs and perform first article inspections using microscopes.
•    Analyze part defects and adjust machine settings for optimal performance.
•    Clean barrels, screws, and troubleshoot molds; manage material purges and mold maintenance.
•    Lead training for new operators and support continuous improvement initiatives.
•    Read and interpret blueprints and technical documents; operate overhead cranes.
•    Maintain safety, cleanliness, and compliance with 5S and TPM practices.

 What makes you a good fit:
•    HS Diploma/GED with 4+ years' experience in injection molding.
•    Strong mechanical aptitude, blueprint reading, and problem-solving skills.
•    Proven ability to lead, train, and communicate effectively in English.
•    Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies a plus.
Physical requirements:
•    Ability to stand or sit for long periods. Comfortable lifting up to 50lbs when needed.
•    Comfortable working in moderate to loud environments.
•    Must follow safety and handling procedures closely.
