$65k-$85K- DOE + Bonus
We are currently seeking an Inside Technical Sales Representative to join our team and help drive the sales of a diverse product lines and manufactured assemblies. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with a strong technical background and sales skills.
Responsibilities
- Cultivate relationships with key decision-makers and engineers at the customer organization, with a focus on long-term partnerships.
- Execute sales plans to meet performance expectations and requirements
- Work closely with customers to understand their technical requirements
- Provide customized quotes based on those customer requirements, technical specifications, and volume needs
- Ensure that quotes are competitive, clear, and aligned with customer expectations.Manage the end-to-end sales process, from initial customer contact to final proposal.
- Serve as the technical expert for all customer inquiries regarding product specifications, integration, and performance.
- Offer solutions that ensure the customer it will meet or exceed their system(s) and operational requirements.
- Stay updated on product offerings and any new developments within the manufacturing process to inform customers accordingly.
- Collaborate cross functionally with product lines, engineering, manufacturing, and other internal departments to provide customer centric solutions
- Be aware of and responsive to market conditions and competitive activities while communicating such information to product divisions
- Stay updated on industry trends, customer feedback, and competitive offerings.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, opportunities, and customer interactions in CRM system.
- Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to management.
- Ensure that customers receive the highest level of service throughout the sales process and beyond.
- Work proactively with engineering and manufacturing to resolve any technical or product-related issues that may arise post-sale.
What you bring to the table:
- Ability to build trust and relationships with various types of people

- Ability to leverage internal stakeholders to meet customer and organizational needs
- Ability to learn and utilize digital tools and proprietary software
- Technical problem-solving, communication, customer service, time management, presentation, planning, interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and familiarity with CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.).
- Strong technical knowledge of temperature sensing, control systems, and related electronic components, such as thermostats, thermistors, probe thermostats and control boards.
- Experience with product customization and troubleshooting for temperature control and sensing products.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to communicate across cross-functional teams such as Engineering and Manufacturing
- Strong negotiation and presentation skills, with experience in handling proposals, contracts, and pricing discussions.
- Ability to manage multiple sales opportunities simultaneously and meet or exceed sales targets.
- Self-motivated with a strong drive to achieve results, while building and maintaining long-term relationships with customers
Experience
- 3+ years of experience in technical sales or solutions engineering, preferably in a manufacturing or electronics-based environment, with a focus on component level thermal products.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree (Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience), with 3 years in a technical or industrial/commercial field, Associates degree with 5 years in a technical or commercial field, or a high school diploma with 7 years in the technical or industrial/commercial field will be considered.
- Knowledge of thermostats, thermistors, electronic controls, or similar products is a plus.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with CAD software or system design tools is a plus.
- Knowledge of industry standards and certifications related to electronic components (e.g. UL, RoHS, CE, etc)
- Ability to travel to customer sites as needed.
