Description

Kelly Services is currently seeking an experienced Instrumentation Planner for a long-term contract opportunity with a leading organization in the Oil & Gas/Petrochemical industry. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment and brings demonstrated expertise with SAP and instrumentation planning.
Long-term contract
Onsite in Sabine Pass, TX (local candidates only, no per diem)
$55 to $70 per hour (DOE)
Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan maintenance & reliability programs for assigned assets.
  • Create and maintain project and outage plans using advanced planning software.
  • Effectively prioritize work for fast response, backlog maintenance, and cost control.
  • Create comprehensive job packs, including all pertinent information for job execution.
  • Coordinate development of work orders and schedules with Operations and Maintenance teams.
  • Develop weekly, monthly, quarterly, and long-term look-ahead schedules for expense and upgrade work.
  • Manage manpower dispatch and work availability in collaboration with supervisors.
  • Provide technical support within CMMS modules.
  • Ensure accurate work order documentation.
  • Identify material requirements and interface with supply chain and vendors.
  • Assist in KPI development, and generate compliance and trend reports with graphical data analysis.
  • Recommend and implement procedure changes and contribute to procedure writing.
  • Support training initiatives to optimize work activities.
  • Assist with budget development and perform other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED required; Technical Degree or equivalent is a plus.
  • 10+ years of experience in maintenance utilizing SAP in oil & gas or petrochemical facilities.
  • Proficient in SAP S/4HANA and knowledgeable in Planning, Scheduling, Execution processes.
  • Scheduling software experience; Prometheus preferred.
  • Project planning software experience (MS Project or Primavera P6) is a plus.
  • Experience managing small to medium scale projects.
  • Familiarity with scaffolding, painting, insulating, heavy equipment operation, welding, fabrication, machining, and work estimation/planning.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience in PHMSA regulated pipeline facilities and gas compression/metring equipment preferred.
