Insurance Claims Processor

Kelly Services is seeking a dedicated Insurance Claims Processor a premier client in Atlanta, GA. In this temporary position, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient processing of insurance claims and supporting clients' needs.

Pay Rate: $16 per hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Location: Atlanta, GA 30339
Position Type: Full Time Temporary


Primary Objectives:

  • Follow standard procedural guidelines for performing tasks related to insurance claims processing.
  • Responsible for logging checks, processing checks, and handling documents.
  • Work on CLEAR queues and make outbound calls to insurance carriers, while also receiving inbound calls.
  • Provide assistance and backup as needed to meet client requirements and service-level agreements (SLAs).
  • Handle additional duties and projects based on business needs.

Major Areas of Accountability:
  • Work under immediate supervision, performing basic and routine tasks initially.
  • Execute moderate complexity and non-routine tasks as you gain experience.
  • Research items received via faxes, reports, tasks, correspondence, and refund/return checks.
  • Make appropriate telephone calls to resolve issues, adhering to client standard policies and procedures.
  • Efficiently navigate client and company proprietary applications.
  • Demonstrate solid technical knowledge and quality performance.
  • Meet behavioral expectations including attendance, teamwork, and organizational contributions.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in insurance claims processing or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in computer applications and data entry.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment.
