Description

Inventory Lead – Warehouse Operations
Location: Pooler, GA
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay: $20.50 per hour

Position Overview Step up to a leadership role as an Inventory Lead in our fast-paced Pooler, GA warehouse! As the Inventory Lead, you'll oversee inventory management processes, supervise cycle counts and audits, drive efficient operations in returns and inbound departments, and help optimize systems while building strong supplier relationships. If you're highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in inventory control, this is a fantastic opportunity with competitive pay and daytime hours. Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee stock management, ensuring timely ordering and replenishment of inventory
  • Establish backup vendors for high-demand items, optimizing supply chain reliability
  • Analyze inventory reports and trends to automate recurring deliveries and stock maintenance
  • Deliver accurate inventory status reports to purchasing and operations managers
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers
  • Supervise and record daily shipments, receipts, and inventory adjustments
  • Oversee and upgrade inventory systems and related software in coordination with management
  • Conduct and supervise cycle counts, spot checks, and inventory audits to resolve variances
  • Direct annual physical inventory audits
  • Operate and oversee forklift usage when required (certification preferred)
  • Manage returns workflow and lead inbound/receiving teams in the warehouse
  • Ensure accurate processing of inbound receipts in WMS
  • Perform additional tasks and support warehouse operations as needed
Required Skills & Abilities
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities
  • Excellent communication skills with internal teams, purchasing, and vendors
  • Deep understanding of inventory control, logistics, and process optimization
  • Advanced data entry and keyboarding proficiency
  • Superior organizational skills and initiative
  • Capable of building and sustaining professional vendor partnerships
  • Sound math and analytical skills
  • Experience with computerized inventory systems required
Education & Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Forklift certification preferred
  • Proven experience in warehouse inventory management, lead or supervisory experience preferred
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds as needed
  • Capable of navigating the warehouse and accessing items at different heights
