Job Opportunity: Lab Technician at a Leading Medical Products Company
Are you detail-oriented with a passion for science? Join our dynamic team as a Laboratory Technician I and make an impact in the medical products industry. This is a 3+ month contract with a high likelihood of extension. You'll play a critical role in ensuring the safety and quality of our products while working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Shift: 1st shift, M-F
Location: On-site
What You'll Do:
- Sample Collection & Testing: Obtain raw material and water samples safely and efficiently, perform routine lab tests, and document your findings.
- ERP System Management: Use our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to identify and process material status changes (release, quarantine, or QC hold).
- Problem Solving: Identify and troubleshoot issues with samples, procedures, results, or equipment, and work with your supervisor to take corrective action.
- Lab Maintenance: Help maintain laboratory standards by calibrating instruments, preparing testing materials, and properly disposing of outdated materials.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Supervisor/Manager to perform other assigned tasks based on your training and abilities.
Qualifications:
- A proactive mindset with a strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and follow written procedures or specific verbal instructions
- Basic understanding of laboratory practices and testing
- Comfort with ERP systems and documentation
