Laboratory Assistant,  Muscatine, Iowa 52761 (ONSITE)

Kelly Services is seeking a Lab Assistant for one of our top clients.

Duration: 1 Year
Type: Contract W2
Pay Rate: $26.50/hr. (W2)
Schedule: 3rd Shift—10:30 PM - 6:30 AM (Sunday 10:30 pm, last shift ends 6:30am Friday)
Interview Process: Virtual or Onsite
 

• Performing routine analytical testing in a 24/7 laboratory environment
• Providing data for various purposes including process and quality control.
• Preparing and analyzing samples using analytical equipment (pH meters, density meters, viscometers, etc.) and operating laboratory information systems.
• Requires accurate record-keeping, compliance with ISO standards, daily instrument calibrations, and maintaining safety practices.
• Knowledge of hazardous waste regulations and possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot instrument issues.
• A background in chemical analyses and 4-6 years of experience is preferred, along with basic knowledge of HPLC and GC operations. New grads can be considered. 
• Applicants must be flexible with shifts, including some overtime as the business needs.
