Job Title: Lead Document Control Assistant – Document Scanning Technician
Location: Bellevue, WA
Shifts:

Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
MOST NEEDED -
Swing Shift: 3:00 pm-11:30 pm

Graveyard Shift: 11:00 pm-7:30 am
Pay Range: $23.00 – $27.00 per hour Depending on Shift
We are seeking a Lead Document Scanning Technician to oversee and coordinate scanning operations. This role requires a hands-on leader who can manage, train, and motivate a team while maintaining quality standards and meeting production deadlines. The ideal candidate will have scanning experience (medical, legal, or office documents preferred) and 1–2 years of people management experience.
Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership

Lead, train, and provide direction to document scanning staff.

Assign daily tasks, monitor team performance, and ensure productivity goals are met.

Foster a positive, collaborative, and safe work environment.

Step in to assist with scanning tasks when necessary.
Document Scanning Operations

Receive, evaluate, and determine prep-level of documents to be scanned.

Recommend improvements for file naming conventions and folder structures.

Remove staples, post-it notes, flags, and bindings to prep documents for scanning.

Create indexing and organize digital folders for clients.

Scan small and large-format documents (larger than 11 x 17) using production scanning equipment.

Process scanned documents to meet client requirements for quality, file size, and text-searchability.

Conduct quality control checks to ensure completeness and legibility.

Transmit completed files to clients via upload link, USB, or other approved methods.
General Responsibilities

Maintain an organized, productive work area.

Work overtime as needed to meet client expectations.

Assist other departments and provide support to customer service as needed.

Adhere to all company policies, safety standards, and quality protocols.

High School Diploma or equivalent.
-
1–2 years of scanning, document handling, reprographics, or printing experience.
-
1–2 years of people management or team lead experience preferred.

Experience with medical or legal office document scanning a plus.

Proficient with Acrobat, Bluebeam, or other PDF software.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word).

Ability to lift up to 40 lbs unassisted and stand for extended periods.

Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask while maintaining quality and accuracy.

Excellent communication skills and an outgoing, leadership-focused attitude.

Tech-savvy, able to navigate new and legacy software with minimal training.
