Shift: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm
10% ONSITE in Torrance, CA, must be able to able to commute to Torrance, CA

Pay: up to $37.75hr

The Logistics Inventory Analyst ensures that dealerships receive vehicles in the same high-quality condition as they left the factory. This involves managing the coordination of vehicles damaged in transit from date of discovery to repair to final destination. In addition, this position is responsible for supporting the Western and Mid-Western logistics field representatives by accurately updating inventory reports, tracking movement of vehicles throughout company's logistics network and following up with vendors to ensure timely shipment of vehicles.
Roles and Responsibilities: 
Daily Tasks:
•    Damaged Vehicles Coordination. This coordination may include vehicle extraction from railcar, damage inspections by third party, issuing and reviewing Notices of Damage (NOD), notifying internal and external groups, vehicle transfers to repair shops, repair follow ups, managing final surveys and system hold code removals.

•    Ensure railhead and port fluidity. Assist the Distribution Field Representatives by ensuring vehicles move without delay. Conduct daily reviews of aging units at ramps and minimize dwell and storage charges.
•    Monitor and review truck carrier performance monthly, aiming for under 3 days of dwell at railhead.
•    Vehicle Tracking. Assist the Logistics Western Assistant Manager to accurately track the movement of Prologue vehicles throughout the logistics process. Coordinate with other departments and vendors to ensure vehicles are shipped and delivered on schedule. Additionally, manage and resolve any issues related to vehicle tracking and coordination, ensuring minimal delays and disruptions in the logistics process.
•    Reporting Update. Assist the Distribution Field Representatives by updating railhead, port and distribution center inventory reports, vehicle tracking reports, and damaged vehicles and repair statuses.
•    Reports updated daily for Sr. Management consumption.

Qualifications & Skills: 
- Proficiency in Excel and strong time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Sound decision-making capabilities.
- (Desired) Logistics experience with Railheads or Ports
- (Desired) Strong negotiation skills.
