Pick & Pack Worker / Logistics Specialist
Pay Rate: $20/hour
Location: Louisville, KY
We are seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Specialist to support receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping operations within a cGMP-regulated distribution environment. This role operates in a fast-paced biotechnology distribution center and plays a key part in ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely movement of marketed products.
Work Schedule-
Monday – Thursday: 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM

Friday: 7:30 AM – 11:30 AM

Accurately pick, pack, and prepare marketed products in accordance with shipping orders and cGMP requirements

Receive, store, and issue product and non-GMP supplies within the warehouse

Operate pallet jacks and powered industrial equipment (forklifts, walkie riders, turret trucks) to move materials safely

Perform physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies

Conduct routine equipment safety and functionality checks (e.g., forklifts)

Enter and maintain accurate data in warehouse and inventory systems

Create, collect, and maintain records in accordance with corporate retention and compliance policies

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Support departmental projects, including process improvement, documentation, investigation, and communication of results

Perform additional duties as assigned

High school diploma or equivalent required
-
5–6 years of relevant industry experience preferred
-
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Physical Sciences, or related field preferred
(May be substituted with extensive inventory management or Bio/Pharma experience) -
Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Basic math skills

Proficiency with PC applications and warehouse or ERP systems (SAP preferred)

Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment

Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, holidays, or different shifts as required

Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
-
Ability to lift and move items weighing 40 lbs or more on a regular basis

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
-
Willingness to work overtime when business needs require

Consistent use of required personal protective equipment (PPE)

Adherence to all safety policies, procedures, and cGMP guidelines
