Description

Job Title: Machine Operator

Job Summary: The Machine Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining machinery used in the manufacturing process. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment to produce high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate various types of machinery, including but not limited to CNC machines, lathes, grinders, and presses.
  • Set up machines for production runs, including adjusting settings based on job specifications.
  • Monitor machine operations to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on machinery as needed.
  • Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality, making adjustments as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate production logs and report any issues to supervisors.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in machine operation preferred.
  • Previous experience as a machine operator or in a similar role is desirable.
  • Knowledge of machine operation, tools, and safety practices.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for long periods.
  • Manual dexterity for operating machinery and tools.

Working Conditions:

  • Work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, machinery, and varying temperatures.
