CNC MACHINE OPERATOR - WEST CHICAGO (MOVING TO NORTHBROOK START OF 2026)
Schedule: 2nd shift (2PM - 10:30PM), 3rd shift (10PM - 6:30AM)
Overtime is highly encouraged

- Operate CNC machines to make miniature components—follow instructions and blueprints, refrain from using any shortcuts.
- Inspect parts with measurement tools (calipers, micrometers) and by sight; accuracy and detail matter.
- Fill out logs and inspection sheets every shift—write clearly and correctly.
- Learn and use machining offsets to fix issues with parts; we'll train you.
- Input production, quality, and safety data daily; transparency is everything.
- Keep your area spotless—wipe down machines, mop at shift's end, no exceptions.
- Handle machine chips and scrap properly.
- Use scales to weigh and count pieces (very tiny materials).
- Record 'Heat Lot' numbers for traceability.
- All documentation must be clear and without scribbles.
- Safety and standards are non-negotiable—you must follow all procedures.
- 0–2 years in machining or manufacturing (Swiss CNC experience highly preferred) ; attitude matters most, skills can be taught.
- Able to use measurement tools and read basic blueprints.
- Committed to cleanliness and detail.
- Works well alone or as part of a team.
- Eager to learn and ready to improve daily.
- Willing and able to travel to Northbrook, IL in March 2026 (brand new facility; company relocation to Northbrook)
- Sometimes the work feels repetitive—precision is everything.
