Production Operator – Georgetown, SC
Full-Time | $18–$27/hour

Join our team as a Production Operator in our chemical manufacturing facility located in Georgetown, SC. This full-time position offers competitive pay, opportunities for growth, and a dynamic environment for candidates with experience operating chemical process equipment (such as reactors and dryers).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and monitor process equipment, including reactors, dryers, hoppers, and packaging machinery
  • Load raw materials and handle in-process sampling to ensure product quality
  • Follow detailed batch sheets (SOPs) relating to cycle time, temperature, and pressure
  • Uphold strict safety standards and procedures (including OSHA regulations and LOTO)
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization within the production area

Requirements:

  • Experience with chemical process and production equipment
  • Willingness and ability to work a rotating swing shift schedule (days, evenings, overnights, and weekends)
  • Must be able to wear a respirator and maintain a clean-shaven face as required by safety protocols
  • Familiarity with OSHA safety standards, LOTO procedures, and working with hazardous materials

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous forklift operation experience
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Hourly rate: $18–$27, based on skills and experience
  • Eligible for overtime and relevant shift differentials

  • Exposure to hazardous substances—strict adherence to safety equipment and protocols is mandatory
