Location: Fort Lawn, SC 29714
Shift: 2-2-3 Schedule, 5:30a - 6:00p
Pay Rate: 18.00

Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable, safety-focused Machine Operator / Production Associate to join our team. This role is responsible for operating production line equipment, performing quality checks, supporting cellar operations, and maintaining a clean, compliant work environment. Key Responsibilities Production & Machine Operation
  • Operates all assigned production line equipment safely and efficiently to meet or exceed production goals.

  • Performs machine changeovers accurately and in a timely manner.

  • Interacts with and navigates HMI (Human-Machine Interface) control technology.

  • Operates designated machine centers based on daily operational needs.

  • Supports cellar operations by completing tank sanitation, sampling, and blending.

  • Performs tank-washing, line cleaning, and equipment sanitation.

Quality & Reporting
  • Executes routine production reporting and required quality checks.

  • Performs consistent in-process and final quality control verification checks.

  • Ensures all products meet established quality, food safety, and compliance standards.

Workplace Safety & Compliance
  • Maintains a clean, organized, and food-safe work area at all times.

  • Follows all safety, environmental, and regulatory guidelines.

  • Demonstrates strong situational awareness with a focus on Safety, Quality, and Productivity.

  • Supports winery sustainability programs relating to conservation, energy efficiency, and recycling.

Continuous Improvement & Teamwork
  • Actively participates in continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Supports creation, improvement, and sustainment of operational procedures such as standard work, job aids, and checklists.

  • Trains others on operational basics when required.

  • Communicates effectively with team members, leadership, and cross-functional departments.

  • Follows and supports improvements to work policies and procedures.

Attendance & Professionalism
  • Maintains satisfactory attendance and punctuality.

  • Demonstrates Intrapreneurship (initiative, innovation, learning from mistakes) and Ownership behaviors (setting high expectations, accountability).

Qualifications
  • Previous manufacturing, production, or machine operation experience preferred.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of accuracy.

  • Ability to lift, bend, stand, and perform repetitive tasks as needed.

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and follow established procedures.

  • Must comply with all safety and environmental requirements.
