Kelly Services in looking for a Maintenance Manager for our client in St. Louis, MO. We are looking for a dedicated professional to oversee all maintenance activities, ensuring that our equipment, machinery, and systems are always in peak condition. You will play a crucial role in planning, coordinating, and supervising maintenance tasks to minimize downtime, boost operational efficiency, and maintain a safe, productive work environment.
Job Specifications:

  • Job Type: Direct Hire – Full time
  • Salary: $80,000-$100,000 depending on experience
  • Hours: Monday – Friday (flexible start time)
Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate all maintenance activities—preventive, corrective, and predictive.
  • Develop and implement maintenance strategies to maximize equipment uptime and operational efficiency.
  • Supervise and guide maintenance technicians, ensuring proper execution of work orders and maintenance schedules.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues affecting plant equipment.
  • Lead, train, and mentor a team of maintenance technicians, promoting skills development and adherence to safety and quality standards.
  • Monitor team performance, provide feedback, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and manage preventive maintenance programs and schedules.
  • Collaborate with production and operations teams to minimize production downtime.
  • Work with MRO buyer to maintain inventory of spare parts, tools, and supplies.
  • Ensure equipment and machinery are maintained to industry standards.
  • Manage repair, replacement, or upgrade of plant equipment as needed.
  • Oversee and manage the annual maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective operations.
  • Track and report maintenance costs, recommending cost-saving measures.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including OSHA standards.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and enforce safety protocols.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities for regulatory compliance.
  • Provide regular reports to senior management on maintenance activities and project progress.
  • Coordinate emergency repairs and troubleshooting.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong technical background in mechanical, electrical, and industrial systems.
