Description

We are looking for a Maintenance Mechanic to maintain the buildings and common areas. You will perform maintenance tasks of great variety such as surveying buildings and repair mechanical systems, performing maintenance of electrical systems, assisting in the setup of ventilation, refrigeration and other systems.

Major Responsibilities

• Provides emergency, unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
• Possesses mechanical skills including but not limited to mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, plumbing and carpentry.  Troubleshoots issues of all process and packaging machines.
• Coordinates and expedites other repair operations with production supervisor.
• Ensures equipment is running properly to achieve optimal output.
• Performs daily work orders.
• Conduct general maintenance procedures and other tasks as assigned (painting, carpentry etc.)

Requirements

• 3-5 years related experience in industrial manufacturing environment, preferably in food processing facilities.
• Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
• Strong knowledge of electric schematic and process flow diagram
• Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices
• Good physical condition and strength with a willingness to work overtime
• Experience in welding preferred;
• Willing to work on weekday nights or weekends if needed.

Physical Demands and Duration

• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, and lift at least 50 lbs.
• Standing majority of shift
• Noise typical of a production environment, Entire shift
• Working in hot/cold temperatures, Entire shift

Job Type: Full-time

Work Schedule: 5 Days a week   4PM to 12:30AM

Location: Folcroft

Rate: $24-$28/hr
