Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor
Location: Waterloo, IA (Onsite)
Assignment Length: 24 Months (As a W2 employee of KellyOCG)
Pay Rate: $42.00 per hour
Shift Information: 2nd shift; 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM, Monday afternoon through Friday evening. Approximately 45 hours per week (overtime likely, including some weekends/holidays).
Dress Code: Business casual. Safety shoes with internal metatarsal protection required from the first day.

Visa sponsorship is not available, now or in the near future, for this position. Cross border work is not permitted for this role.

Position Overview:
As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will provide leadership, coordination, and scheduling to hourly employees, ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and efficiency goals are met in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role requires a strong presence on the shop floor and the ability to manage non-routine and self-directed tasks.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership to hourly wage employees
  • Coordinate and schedule shop floor maintenance tasks to ensure safety and efficiency
  • Meet or exceed quality and delivery objectives
  • Spend approximately 50% of your day on the shop floor
  • Drive continuous improvement in safety, productivity, and team performance

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 1+ years of supervisory experience in a production/manufacturing environment
  • 2-year technical degree or equivalent experience
  • Comfortable leading hourly employees in a factory setting
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel
  • Excellent communication and people management skills
  • Experience in work planning and estimating
  • Technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and tool and die disciplines
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Eligible for in-person interviews

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with SAP

Additional Information:

  • Shop floor presence required; must be comfortable driving a Gator after safety training
  • Overtime is likely, including some weekends and holidays
  • Onsite from the first day
