Maintenance Supervisor  
Location: Southwest Chicago, IL
Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM
Salary: $75,000–$97,000 based on experience

Kelly Services has partnered with a leading manufacturing company, and is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor in Southwest Chicago, IL area. 

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for leading and coordinating the maintenance activities. This role is responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and continuous operation of all production equipment, with a particular emphasis on high-pressure filling lines, mechanical systems, electrical components, and compressed gas systems. The ideal candidate has a strong background in industrial maintenance, team leadership, and preventative maintenance systems in a regulated manufacturing environment. 
 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support the maintenance team, ensuring safety and minimal equipment downtime.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and basic electrical systems—especially on aerosol filling lines.
  • Use CMMS (eMaint) to manage and track maintenance activities.
  • Work with production to plan maintenance and reduce downtime.
  • Help with new equipment installs, upgrades, and improvement projects.
  • Train and support team members on technical and safety procedures.
  • Perform audits and evaluate maintenance effectiveness.
  • Maintain compressors, HVAC systems, and facility infrastructure.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, safety, and environmental rules.
  • Develop and run preventive maintenance programs.
  • Keep accurate maintenance records using CMMS.
  • Collaborate with Production, Quality, and EHS teams.
  • Manage spare parts inventory.
  • Handle emergency maintenance as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED (Associate's or Bachelor's preferred).
  • Strong mechanical skills and attention to detail.
  • Good time management and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with aerosol equipment, pneumatics, hydraulics, and basic electrical systems.
  • PLC knowledge is a plus.
  • Able to read blueprints and technical manuals.
  • Comfortable using CMMS and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Familiar with OSHA, GMP, and safety standards.
