Maintenance Technician Location: Libertyville, IL
1st and 2nd shift rotating (6am-6pm, or 6pm-6am)
Pay: 32/hr-37/hr
Job Type: Direct Hire
Here at Kelly we are seeking a maintenance technician to start a direct hire position at one of our most trusted and successful partners. This is a permanent position with full benefits, and you will start with the company on day 1, as it is direct hire role. This partner is an established manufacturer in the plastics industry. Plastics maintenance experience preferred but not required. See details below: Responsibilities and Qualifications:

  • Support and maintain all policies of the company including but not limited to ISO Standards, Health and Safety Requirements, Continuous Improvement as well as standard work procedures.
  • Installs and performs preventative maintenance on injection molding machines and equipment (closing machines, feeder bowls, etc.) as required.
  • Reconditions used equipment.
  • Troubleshoots hydraulic, automation, vision, and electrical systems on injection molding machines to ensure continuous production under the direction of the Shift Supervisor.
  • Authorized to take out of service any machine or equipment that is deemed to be unsafe or that would further deteriorate with continued use.

Qualifications:
• High School Diploma required.
• English required/Spanish preferred
