Kelly, in partnership with a rapidly growing manufacturer, is looking for a Permanent Maintenance Mechanic in Milford, CT!

This is a direct hire role, meaning you will be hired permanently with our client and offered their benefit and vacation package upon hire!

Benefits:

Details:
Hours: 11:30 am to 7:30 pm Sunday through Thursday
  • Overtime available - double time on 7th day if worked!
Pay:  $37.94 per hour plus $2.20 shift differential

Job Description:
  • Set up, maintain and repair molding machinery
  • Troubleshoot machine issues during shift, evaluate situation as it related to production and perform repairs to maximize quality, safety and efficiency in the department
  • Responsible for maintaining specific equipment in the department and be able to investigate and track machine issues
  • Responsible for organizing work in order to facilitate completion of scheduled T.P.M. and correct outstanding machine issues while maximizing machine efficiencies
  • Responsible for implementing continuous improvement modifications and changes required to standardize machine set up
  • Required to attend shift turnover meetings and communicate all necessary information to maximize quality, safety and efficiency
  • Required to perform molded part inspections, record process settings and make process adjustments defined by the Quality System.

Requirements:
  • Five plus years of experience in a manufacturing environment is ideal
  • Must be able to pass a Minimizer test
