We are looking for a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join a metals manufacturing team located in Lake Mary, Florida.

Job Title: Maintenance Technician 
Salary Range: $23.00+ per hour (based on experience)
Type of Position: Full-time / Temp to perm
Schedule: 1st shift 6:00am – 2:30pm
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to cut and join metals and other materials at our facilities. A welder must be competent in using potentially dangerous equipment following all safety precautions. The ideal candidate will also have a steady hand and great attention to detail. Knowledge of different kinds of metal and their properties is essential.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Production maintenance technician performs preventive maintenance and skilled repairs on complex production equipment and systems.
  • Evaluates and recommends equipment improvements to improve efficiency, capability and yield.
  • Being a production maintenance technician performs equipment failure analysis including preventive and unscheduled maintenance.
  • Troubleshoots and diagnoses equipment problems.
  • Additionally prepares technical reports to documents equipment modification and equipment maintenance procedures.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Requires high school diploma
  • 3 years of experience
Safety Requirements:
  • Safety glasses and shoes must be worn in all manufacturing areas.
  • Hearing protection is required in posted areas and optional in unmarked areas.
