Job Ad: Maintenance Technician (Temp-to-Hire)
Location: Bozeman, MT (1924 West Stevens Street)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Pay Range: $23–$28/hour
Status: Full-time, Temp-to-Hire

As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring that all aspects of property maintenance, resident satisfaction, and capital improvements at our communities are carried out to the highest standards. You will report directly to the Property Manager and may be required to travel between property locations within the community, with rare travel outside the area.
Key Responsibilities1. Maintenance
- Promptly resolve resident maintenance issues, ensuring satisfaction
- Proactively address preventative maintenance for safe, functional, and appealing properties
- Maintain accurate work order records and relevant documentation
2. Rent Ready Activities
- Complete cleaning and repairs to prepare apartments for new residents within 2 business days after vacancy
3. Porter Duties
- Perform periodic cleaning of units, common areas, and grounds
- Handle additional cleaning as needed
4. Manager Support
- Distribute resident notices
- Conduct unit walkthroughs and inspections
5. Other Duties as Assigned
RequirementsPersonal Traits
- Cheerful, dependable, and professional
- Strong people skills, enthusiastic, and take pride in work
- Effective oral and written communication
- Able to work independently
- Valid driver's license and proof of insurance
Essential Maintenance Skills
- Troubleshooting basics (appliances, A/C, furnace, etc.)
- Basic plumbing and electrical repairs
- Drywall repair, door & trim replacement, and painting
Preferred/Beneficial
- Advanced drywall and plumbing skills
- HVAC experience, boiler license
