Maintenance Technician ($20-$25/hr)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at our South Windsor location. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing adjustments and minor corrective and preventive maintenance on all production equipment. You will have the opportunity to learn and develop your skills in reading and interpreting technical service bulletins and manuals. Additionally, you will work closely with senior technicians and management to resolve repairs and escalate issues when necessary.
Job Specifications:
- Job Type: Direct Hire
- Location: South Windsor, CT
- Pay Rate: $20-$25/hr
Shift: Monday to Wednesday, alternating Thursday, 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Perform adjustments and minor corrective and preventive maintenance on production support equipment
- Read and interpret technical service bulletins and manuals
- Resolve repairs independently or escalate issues to senior technicians, vendors, contractors, or management
- Follow safety protocols and work under the direct supervision of a senior technician when working inside any safety cover or skin of a machine not designed for general production access
Qualifications & Skills:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Strong mechanical aptitude
Preferred:
- 1 year of related experience operating of high-speed automated machinery
Compensation & Benefits:
- Annual Bonus: You will be eligible to receive a discretionary bonus of up to $1,250.00
