Master Data Planner
This position is for an entry-level Materials Planning and SIOP professional who is responsible for the Material Master Data Planning and Order Entry System Set-Up process, mainly for NPI programs, and for making moderate improvements to systems and processes to enhance performance of the work area and team. Works with internal team to develop process improvements and problem solutions. Plans, designs, and executes activities that, from a system perspective, are directly related to the physical creation of Customer products and the functional operation of Customer facilities. Contains professional and para-professional disciplines.
Primary Responsibilities:

  • Executes defined strategy for materials planning and SIOP.
  • Supports the development of standardized processes within materials planning and SIOP in order to optimize utilization of business resources and meet customer delivery expectations.
  • Responsible for the maintenance of indicators that enable visibility to short and long-term market demand, such as customer order entry.
  • Identifies appropriate demand streams and establishes data relationship linkages.
  • Works with product development leaders, planning and supply chain teams to understand demand forecasts.
  • Supports robust Master Data Parameters maintenance for planning capacity and fulfillment demand with plant manufacturing operations.
  • Works with Inventory and Planning teams and supports definition of PFEP parameters with other MDPs.
  • Supports tracking appropriate metrics to drive results and continuous improvement.
  • Supports the development of processes and plans to improve supply capabilities.
  • Supports the creation and execution of PFEP and maintains master data for purchased parts, sub-assemblies, end items, and other parts as required.
  • Supports continuous management of the master demand schedule, including adherence to all required validations using the best information available, in order to provide long-range OE and aftermarket demand visibility in support of financial planning, internal and external capacity management, and the overall SI&OP process.
  • Supports inventory planning settings maintenance to drive part shortage resolution.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and 3 years of prior relevant experience OR Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 1 year of experience OR in absence of a degree, 7 years of relevant experience is required.
  • Good communication and presentation skills in English and Spanish (verbal and written).
  • Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen.
