Job Posting: Material Coordinator

Location: Juncos, PR
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: Starting at $17.81ph

Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Material Coordinator to join our team. Under general supervision, you will be responsible for performing hands-on operations related to receiving, storing, dispensing, transferring, and shipping materials in a cGMP environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, store, dispense, deliver, transfer, reconcile, cycle count, or ship materials according to cGMP procedures and regulations across multiple systems and sites.
  • Utilize inventory systems to resolve basic issues and manage material handling efficiently.
  • Operate various quality, operations, and logistical software applications.
  • Review and verify cGMP transactions to ensure compliance.
  • Use Power Industrial Vehicles (PIV) to move warehouse materials and, when necessary, operate trucks to transport goods following Department of Transportation regulations.
  • Handle hazardous materials in accordance with Federal guidelines.
  • Adhere to OSHA and DOT policies, along with other relevant regulations.
  • Identify operational issues and suggest process improvements to leadership.
  • Participate in departmental projects and maintain compliance with training records.
  • Prepare for regulatory inspections and audits while ensuring a clean and safe work environment.
  • Serve as a point of contact for internal and external customers regarding daily operational matters.

Education:

  • High school diploma/GED with 1 year of relevant supply chain or military experience, or
  • Associate's degree.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to operate trucks or vans safely.
  • Experience managing hazardous materials.
  • Proficient in operating warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex written procedures accurately.
  • Excellent computer skills, with the ability to navigate various software applications.
  • Strong mathematical, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Capable of prioritizing work to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic customer service skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to meet job demands, including standing, lifting, and operating equipment.

Additional Information:
This role may require exposure to temperature extremes, noise, and other environmental factors. The candidate should have a comprehensive understanding of supply chain processes and the ability to interact effectively with regulators.
