Description

We are seeking a dedicated Material Coordinator for Juncos, PR starting at $17.81ph to perform various hands-on operations, including receiving, storing, dispensing, transferring, and shipping materials in compliance with standard operating procedures within a primarily cGMP environment. Under general supervision, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient management of materials and compliance with safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, store, dispense, deliver, transfer, reconcile, cycle count, and ship materials in accordance with cGMP procedures and regulations across multiple systems or sites.
  • Utilize inventory systems effectively to resolve basic system issues and maintain accurate records within Amgen's ERP system.
  • Operate Power Industrial Vehicles (PIV) and, when necessary, trucks to move warehouse and hazardous materials while adhering to Department of Transportation regulations.
  • Review and verify cGMP transactions for accuracy and compliance.
  • Identify and report operational issues, as well as process improvement opportunities, to leadership.
  • Participate in group-specific projects and maintain compliant training records.
  • Ensure a clean and safe work environment, preparing for regulatory inspections and audits.
  • Train staff in basic cGMP functions and monitor compliance with work processes and metric targets.

Education and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma/GED with 1 year of supply chain work or military experience, or an Associate's degree.
  • Proven ability to safely operate trucks or vans and handle hazardous materials.
  • Experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex procedures accurately.
  • Proficient in basic computer operations and able to work efficiently with various software applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrates Amgen values and has experience in a GMP environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Good problem-solving abilities and capacity to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Ability to manage physical demands, including lifting and moving heavy objects.
