Job Title: Merchandising Representative I
Department: Recase Pack Socks
Shift: 1st Shift and 2nd Shift 
1st :1st Shift Packing. 7:00am-3:00pm. OT is 5:00am-3:00pm and weekends.
2nd : 2nd Shift Packing. 3:15pm-11:15pm. OT is 3:15pm-1:15am and weekends.

Mandatory Overtime: 5:00 AM – 3:00 PM, including Saturdays (5:00 AM – 1:00 PM); occasional Sundays based on workload
Location: Rural Hall, NC 27045
Reports To: Department Supervisor / Shift Lead

Job Summary:

The Merchandising Representative I plays a key role in the recase packing of socks within a warehouse production environment. This position requires consistent accuracy, teamwork, and physical capability to handle repetitive tasks while standing for extended periods. The ideal candidate must be reliable, punctual, and able to adapt to varying workloads, including weekends and early morning shifts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sort, organize, and repack socks into designated boxes for shipment or inventory purposes.

  • Transport full boxes of product to assigned warehouse areas using manual pallet jacks or carts.

  • Utilize handheld scanning devices to track inventory or complete packaging tasks as needed.

  • Break down and dispose of empty boxes; maintain a clean and safe workspace at all times.

  • Tape, label, and stack finished boxes according to production guidelines.

  • Participate in constructing cardboard display units while working at shared tables.

  • Maintain productivity and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and occasionally lift over 50 lbs.

  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, and twisting required throughout the shift.

  • Repetitive wrist, finger, and hand movements involved in folding, taping, and packing.

  • Ability to work at a continuous pace and remain on feet for the duration of the shift.

Work Schedule Expectations:
  • Full attendance during scheduled hours is mandatory unless specifically excused.

  • Must be willing and able to work weekends and overtime, including early morning start times.

  • Flexibility in scheduling is essential based on production demands.

Qualifications:
  • Previous warehouse or merchandising experience preferred but not required.

  • Ability to follow instructions, maintain focus, and work collaboratively in a team setting.

  • Strong attention to detail and work ethic; must be dependable and punctual.

  • Comfortable using basic warehouse tools and equipment, including pallet jacks and scanners.
