Material Handler - Imaging Specialist

Join our dynamic team as a Material Handler - Imaging Specialist, where you will play a crucial role in the document preparation and scanning of important client documents. Job Specifications:
- Job Type: Full-Time
- Location: Fife, WA
- Pay Rate: $18.50/hr
- Shift: 12:00pm-5:00pm


Roles and Responsibilities:
- Perform document preparation and indexing, including sorting and preparing hard copy records for scanning.
- Utilize third-party software to scan hardcopy files to electronic images, ensuring high-quality results.
- Follow production procedures and complete internal documentation tracking.
- Maintain a clean work environment according to Imaging Center guidelines.
- Conduct quality checks on all scanned documents and address any quality issues.
- Identify and document image errors and their causes during quality control.
- Enter required fields for validation and verification using keyboard data entry.
- Reassemble documents to their original condition as needed.
- Prepare products for delivery and ensure all documentation is complete.
- Maintain and troubleshoot scanning hardware and software as necessary.
- Assist in training new Imaging Specialists.
- Comply with daily maintenance and safety checks of all equipment.
- Utilize pallet jacks and carts as necessary.
- Report any immediate issues to the appropriate manager.
- Participate in safety and security drills.
- Travel between facilities when necessary and work overtime as required.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Qualifications & Skills:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 1 year of related experience in a team-focused environment, preferably in a service industry.
- Strong communication skills and basic PC computer skills.
- Ability to sort, file, and box records accurately.
- Understanding of the importance of detail and accuracy.
- Capability to work at a sustained pace to meet production rates.
- Willingness to adapt to change and manage long project durations.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively in a team.
- Physical ability to lift 20-60 lbs, perform routine scanning, and operate pallet jacks.
