Materials Coordinator
Location:
Irvine, CA
Shift: 1st Shift
Pay: $22.75 per hour
 

Job Description:
As a Materials Coordinator, you will play a key role in administering and operating our organization's warehouse. Responsibilities include processing, packaging, and storage of supplies, materials, and equipment. You will be accountable for all materials and supplies in the facility, auditing inventory and managing incoming goods. You will oversee the receipt, storage, and shipment of materials, ensure accurate reporting, and coordinate schedules for shipping and receiving to control the flow of goods and regulate warehouse space.
Your role is vital to ensuring effective operating procedures, optimal space utilization, and the ongoing maintenance and protection of our facilities and equipment.
 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer warehouse operations, including inventory, processing, packaging, and storage
  • Account for all materials and supplies; audit goods received
  • Oversee receipt, storage, and shipment of materials
  • Coordinate schedules for shipping and receiving
  • Ensure compliance with established procedures
  • Optimize space utilization and maintain facility/equipment integrity

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a warehouse or materials coordination role
  • Knowledge acquired through experience, specialized education, or training
  • Basic understanding of work routines and procedures
  • Ability to follow clearly defined guidelines and technical procedures
  • Strong attention to detail and organization
