Description

Job Title: Materials Coordinator lll Kelly is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Materials Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you'll provide responsive communication with customers, support facility personnel, manage the flow of materials, and ensure accurate data entry. You will be pivotal in maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting production goals, and training new team members. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide responsive communication with customers as needed.
  • Support facility personnel to ensure the assigned duties are performed.
  • Communicate late deliveries, order changes, missed information, and tracking numbers to customers as needed.
  • Provide responses and/or details on shipments/receipts in customer's systems and reports as required.
  • Attend QOS meetings as required.
  • Responsible for data entry/manipulation.
  • Assist with daily cycle counts and order discrepancies to ensure orders close properly.
  • Create order pick tickets to ensure FIFO procedures are followed.
  • Perform empty rack counts to ensure production goals can be achieved.
  • Manage the overall flow of materials into and out of the facility.
  • Track Warehouse Utilization to prioritize hot material shipments.
  • Transfer damaged or obsolete material to quarantine daily for accurate shortage reporting.
  • Ensure proper reporting of KPIs.
  • Responsible for sending daily shortage reports to manufacturing plants.
  • Communicate all EDI errors to management and IT immediately.
  • Support receiving and production teams as needed.
  • Assist with training new material coordinators as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Intermediate service, production, or support role having greater responsibility to perform all (or most) of the standard work within the function.
  • · Minimum 3 years of experience leveraging technology to perform daily tasks, including strong familiarity with MS Office applications (in particular Exchange, Word & Excel), web navigation & basic hardware functions.
  • · Proven track record of taking initiative to accomplish tasks in creative ways with a sense of urgency and assertiveness.
