We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Meat Repacker to join our team in Blasdell, NY (14219). In this hands-on warehouse role, you'll be responsible for packing and repacking meat products in a cold environment. Job Details:

Position: Meat Repacker
Location: Blasdell, New York 14219
Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire
Pay Rate: $18.00/hr
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM (or later; overtime required)
Worksite: Onsite, Cold Environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Pack and repack meat products according to company standards

• Weigh, count, and inspect products and packaging for quality assurance

• Assemble, line, and pad cartons and crates using hand tools

• Mark and label containers and products with identifying information

• Load and sort materials or meat products using hand tools

• Clean work areas and tools with appropriate cleaning solutions

• Record order and packaging details on designated forms

• Remove defective products and transport completed items for shipping

• Seal containers using adhesives, fasteners, or tools

Work Environment:

• Cold environment – candidates must be comfortable working in refrigerated conditions

• Overtime is common and may extend beyond the standard schedule

Qualifications:

Education:

• No high school diploma or GED required

Experience:

• Prior packing, repacking, or warehouse experience preferred

• Consistent work history (limited job-hopping is preferred)

Skills:

• Ability to use hand tools and basic equipment

• Basic counting, weighing, and measuring skills

• Attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions

Soft Skills:

• Strong work ethic and reliability

• Ability to work efficiently in a physical and fast-paced environment

• Team-player attitude
