Mechanical Assembler – 2nd Shift
Base Pay: $16.25 per hour

The Associate Mechanical Assembler (2nd Shift) is responsible for assembling a wide range of mechanical components into sub-assemblies or finished products in accordance with print specifications and established procedures. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to follow written and verbal instructions, and compliance with quality, safety, and cGMP manufacturing standards.
Key Responsibilities-
Operate production equipment set up with defined processes to complete assigned assembly tasks.

Read and interpret basic blueprints, mechanical drawings, and assembly instructions.

Perform accurate measurement tasks using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measurement tools.

Follow all cGMP manufacturing guidelines, including completing required production documentation accurately and on time.

Assemble small parts and devices with precision, demonstrating strong hand–eye coordination and manual dexterity.

Print labels and package products or sub-assemblies according to established procedures.

Meet established production rates while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Rotate through various manufacturing processes within a team/cell environment as needed.

Observe all safety rules and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Communicate effectively with other shifts regarding equipment status, part availability, and relevant production updates.

Perform final pack duties when assigned.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and support 5S and continuous improvement initiatives.

Use basic computer applications for documentation, labeling, and communication.

Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Work scheduled overtime when required.

0–1 year of manufacturing or mechanical assembly experience preferred.

Ability to read, understand, and communicate in basic English.

Ability to stand for up to 8 hours per day; ability to bend, stoop, reach, use hands for assembly, and lift up to 35 pounds unassisted.

Visual acuity of at least 20/40 in each eye at 20 feet (corrected or uncorrected), with the ability to distinguish colors.

Strong hand/eye coordination, fine motor skills, and the ability to work at designated production speeds.

Basic computer knowledge and comfort using digital tools.
This role operates in a manufacturing environment that requires adherence to safety, cGMP, and quality standards. Work involves standing for extended periods, using hand tools and measurement devices, and assembling small components.
