This position will be ONSITE in Davis, CA MUST be able to commute to Davis, CA
Hours: Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm
Pay: $26-30/hr
This is a contract for 1 year

What's a typical day as a Mechanical Quality Inspector? You'll be:
• Reporting to the Quality Systems Manager and performing in-process inspection audits on machined and welded production and engineering materials.
• Ensuring documentation, including material certificates and vendor inspection reports, is accurate and complete.
• Conducting audits on the shop floor and providing feedback to manufacturing personnel, product engineering, and purchasing regarding quality inspection of manufactured parts.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in Mechanical Quality inspection or a related trade (Machining or Welding).
• Demonstrate knowledge and practical application of precision measuring equipment and inspection tools, including CMM, Optical Comparator, and smart scopes.
• Possess good communication skills and the ability to clearly convey results of quality control activities, along with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
