Medicaid EDI Manager, Mason, OH (Hybrid 3 days/week in office)

Kelly Services is seeking a Medicaid EDI Manager for one of our top clients.

Duration: 9/29/2025- 1/14/2026 (Possibility of extension or perm hire)
Type: Contract W2
Pay Rate: $50.00/hr. (W2)
Interview Process: Virtual or Onsite


GENERAL FUNCTION:

  • Perform membership data load from various electronic media into the AS400 system.
  • Coordinate membership data transfer for new plans and modifications to existing plans, with client and internal personnel.
  • Troubleshoot data issues through coordination and communication with management team, IT, and client personnel.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
  • Load membership data into the AS400 efficiently and accurately
  • Follow research and data processing guidelines and meet established standards
  • Answer client service team questions regarding data submission requirements in a professional and timely manner
  • Identify and resolve data issues
  • Use PC based applications to review membership data as necessary to ensure accurate data load or problem resolution.
  • Assist in coordinating receipt, loading, tracking, and reporting of membership data
  • Identify and recommend systems and process modifications necessary to effectively and efficiently support the research function
  • Demonstrate strong teamwork abilities and the desire to provide quality customer service

COMMUNICATION WITH OTHERSINTERNAL
  • Frequent oral and written communication with internal associate and field management
  • EXTERNAL – Frequent oral and written communication with clients, brokers, software/system providers, and third party administrators
  • LISTENING – Employs excellent listening skills to understand issue and drive research and resolution

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
  • Detailed working knowledge of mainframe computers and systems in general
  • Detailed working knowledge of basic person computer operations
  • Strong working knowledge of software programs, specifically Excel and Access
  • Understands third party benefits and administration
  • Strong customer service focus
  • Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot electronic data issues
  • Ability to work well under pressure and multi-task

EXPERIENCE
  • 3-5 years Business experience, preferably in the insurance industry.
  • Familiarity with electronic media and AS400
  • Experience with Excel, Access and Microsoft Word

EDUCATION
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
