Microbiologist
Kelly Outsourcing and Consulting is seeking a Microbiologist for our client a leading medical device company in Raritan, NJ. This role is a full-time, fully benefited position. As a Kelly OCG employee, you will be eligible for Medical, Dental, 401K and paid time off, including holiday, vacation and sick/personal time.

Schedule: Day shift Monday to Friday
Length of assignment:  12 months
Pay $39-45 an hour depending on experience
Job Description

  • Preparing and testing microbiology samples for project per SOPs and approved test methods.
  • Few related studies. ex. Log attachment, ZOI, MIC, Growth Promotion, etc. and reporting test results.
  • Reporting OOS/OOT test results and conducting lab investigations, as needed.
  • Preparing and sterilizing laboratory media and dry goods
  • Preparing cultures, performing MIC testing, growth promotions, and other daily lab activities and required documentation associated with these tasks. Performing lab housekeeping assessments and upkeep of the lab and lab documents. {ex. Manage laboratory supplies, and lab SOPs et. Participating in monthly lab safety inspections
  • laboratory spaces to be audit ready follow Compliance and EH S procedures with the employee
Requirements
  • Hands-on experience with preservative efficacy testing, zone of inhibition assay, MIC testing and basic understanding of microbiology and aseptic technique.
  • BS degree 1-2 years' experience in related field
