The role of a tutor.

Work in small group sessions with students during school. These sessions are in-person.
Understand student learning gaps based on information given to you and teach district-provided curriculum that is tailored to each student's need.
Also assist with homework, projects, and other academic tasks.
Foster strong and positive relationships with students through significant, consistent, and regular amounts of time.
Evaluate and report student progress.
Work in collaboration with classroom teachers and school administration, under the direct supervision of the Kelly® Education Tutoring Solutions Team.
Specific information about the Kelly® Education ESOL tutoring program in Rogers, AR.

Working with at least one identified ESOL student four-days per week.
Serve as Tutor Lead and step-in substitute, if needed.
Must be available Monday – Thursday, approximately 11:30am – 4pm, including 30-minutes of paid planning time.
Assist AAA tutor point person with administration and data collection.
Working with identified students needing more focused engagement.
Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's Degree preferred
Previous tutoring/teaching experience required
Must be a certified ESOL teacher
