Job Title: Mold Setter

Location: Lafayette, TN

Shift: 3rd Shift

Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 11:15 PM - 7:45 AM

Job Duties:

• Perform mold changes and sampling runs according to the molding schedule.
• Promote and maintain cooperation among shifts, tool room, quality control, and management to achieve production goals.
• Assist with the setup and maintenance of auxiliary equipment, such as granulators, conveyors, liquid temperature controls, and mold electrical controls.
• Train and assist machine operators.
• Make minor repairs to machines and equipment, and notify appropriate personnel for major repairs.
• Establish proper molding conditions.
• Eliminate production of defective parts and products.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Knowledge Required:

• Ability to interpret and translate engineering designs and documentation.
• Thorough understanding of or ability to quickly learn production equipment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Skills Needed:

• Ability to conduct tests and inspections of products.
• Troubleshoot during the molding process to ensure maximum machine utilization, providing feedback for root cause analysis.
• Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and ability to complete tasks.
• Ability to work within a team environment while displaying professional behavior.
• Reliability, responsibility, and dependability in fulfilling obligations.

Compensation: Starts at $15.00 per hour, with shift differential included.
