Job Posting: Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician – 3rd Shift

Location:
Baxter Springs, KS

Pay:
$31.00 – $34.50 per hour (depending on experience)

Schedule:
Wednesday – Friday & every other Saturday
7:00 PM to 7:00 AM (12-hour shifts)

Position Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and skilled Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician for our 3rd shift team in Baxter Springs, KS. This position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of industrial machinery and facility systems to ensure continuous & safe production operations during overnight hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.
• Diagnose issues, troubleshoot, and repair production and facility machinery efficiently.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals, technical documents, blueprints, and schematics.
• Complete work orders/daily documentation as required.
• Support machine setups, production changeovers, and equipment installations/upgrades.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Follow all safety regulations and actively participate in safety programs.
• Collaborate with other maintenance and production team members.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade school certification preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of industrial/multi-craft maintenance experience.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals & schematics.
• Experience using hand and power tools, test equipment, and diagnostic instruments.
• Team-oriented with solid problem-solving abilities.
• Commitment to safety, dependability, and high work standards.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Physical Requirements:
This role requires standing, walking, reaching, climbing, bending, kneeling, and lifting/moving up to 50 pounds regularly. Visual acuity for detailed repairs is required. Reasonable accommodations available for qualified individuals.
