Pay Rate: $22.50 hourly Shift: Weekend shift role. Schedule: Thursday to Monday or Friday to Tuesday. Training is conducted on weekdays; availability for weekday training is required. Why you should apply to be Material Handler:

What's a typical day as Material Handler? You'll be:
  • Delivering materials and retrieving returns from Packaging/Processing areas
  • Assisting with the preparation and assembly of outbound shipments
  • Repalletizing materials for sampling and warehouse storage
  • Moving materials from receiving to designated warehouse locations
  • Preparing and assembling waste materials for destruction
  • Sorting and delivering non-inventory courier shipments and supplies across departments
  • Offloading inbound receipts and loading outbound shipments
  • Participating in process improvement initiatives to enhance workflow
  • Maintaining a safe working environment and reporting hazards
  • Performing alternating or rotating shift work as assigned
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Bring at least 1 year of experience in distribution, warehouse, supply chain, or related field
  • Hold a valid Narrow Aisle Forklift operation certificate (mandatory)
  • Can multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrate strong accuracy and attention to detail
  • Work efficiently with limited supervision
  • Are able to lift up to 50lbs and maneuver up to 80lbs
  • Possess excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Are familiar with WHMIS and workplace safety regulations
  • Are proficient with computers, particularly Microsoft Office
  • Communicate fluently in English
  • Are available for weekday training and weekend shift schedules
