Logistics Coordinator

Job Specifications:
- Job Type: Full-Time
- Location: Spring Lake, MI
- Pay Rate: $23.00+
- Shift: 1st Shift, Mon – Fri, 7am to 3pm
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Manage outbound shipments with appropriate carriers, ensuring all paperwork and staging are handled efficiently.
- Analyze and schedule daily shipments, accessing customer websites for pull signals.
- Act as the primary liaison for internal and external customers regarding shipping and receiving information, including advanced ship notices (ASN) and expedite requests.
- Collaborate with internal team members to troubleshoot logistics issues and implement effective solutions.
- Prepare pick lists, finalize transfer orders, and process delivery orders.
- Monitor and manage daily back-order reports.
- Receive parts for inventory and ensure accurate receiving reports reflect items received.
- Maintain organized record retention of shipping documents.
- Proactively communicate logistics issues and changes to relevant team members to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Review logistics regulations periodically to ensure compliance and implement necessary changes.
- Adhere to all environmental and safety policies and procedures as established by management.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience in logistics or supply chain management.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Proficiency with logistics software and customer relationship management systems.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of shipping regulations and compliance standards.
