Description

Kelly® Professional & Industrial is seeking a qualified Night Shift Supervisor  to work at one of the world's largest snack food companies manufacture in Tifton, Georgia. The ideal candidate will have hands-on manufacturing experience, mechanical aptitude, and experience leading a team of at least 14 people. This is a salaried position that will begin with training on the day shift from 7 AM to 7 PM until fully trained for the regular night shift of 3 PM to 11 PM. 

Pay Rate: 

  • $45,000 - $55,000

Shifts:
  • Training Schedule: 7AM -7 PM
  • Regular Schedule: 3PM -11 PM 

Location:  Tifton GA 31794 
 

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise, train, and evaluate plant personnel in various phases of plant operation.
  • Work with the Assistant Plant Manager to schedule maintenance.
  • Assist in correcting and repairing mechanical failures.
  • Ensure production rates set by the Plant Manager are met.
  • Maintain product quality expectations.
  • Assist in training new employees.
  • Enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).

Qualifications: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

 

  • Strong computer skills.
    Safety-conscious mindset.
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
    Valid driver's license.
    Previous leadership experience preferred.
    Industrial maintenance experience preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to perform computer work for extended periods.
  • Capable of bending, climbing, and lifting both light and heavy objects.
  • Must be able to work at elevated heights of more than 10 feet.

Work Environment:

  • Primarily indoors, with some tasks requiring outdoor work.
  • Constant communication with team members.
  • Travel may be required for quality tasks.
  • Exposure to hot/cold and inclement weather conditions.
  • Work involves exposure to high noise levels, dust, dirt, grease, chemicals, and machinery with moving parts.
  • Use of protective devices such as masks, goggles, and gloves may be necessary.
