Job Title: Office Administrator
Location: Washington, DC 20008
Start Date: ASAP
Work Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (with some flexibility)
Compensation: Depending on experience and education $25 - $29 an hour

Position Summary:
The Embassy of Italy in Washington, D.C. is seeking a meticulous and reliable Office Administrator to assist with the digitization and archiving of consular files. This full time - temporary position requires a detail-oriented individual with fluency in both Italian and English, and experience in handling confidential documents. The successful candidate will be responsible for scanning files, performing accurate data entry, and updating consular records as necessary.

Responsibilities:

  • Digitize records by accurately scanning various files.
  • Perform precise data entry related to records for archiving purposes.
  • Update and maintain consular files with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Ensure confidentiality and security of all sensitive information.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office Suite tools effectively.

Qualifications:
  • Fluency in both Italian and English (required).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Experience with scanning files and data entry.
  • Familiarity with government forms and documents is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate reliability.
  • No bachelor's degree required; emphasis on Italian fluency and relevant experience.

Work Environment:
  • On-site work only; remote is not available for this position.
