*Position will be fully onsite in downtown Raleigh (27601)
*37.5-hour work week with a flexible start time Monday-Friday between 7am and 10am

Kelly is seeking a direct hire Office Manager in Raleigh, NC! Our client has been manufacturing smart energy meters on a global basis for over 40 years and is now entering the US market. This is an exciting opportunity to be one of the first US hires, to help set up the newly acquired office space in downtown Raleigh, and to set the tone for company morale and culture!
The Office Manager will:
- Assist in the set-up of the new office space and infrastructure
- Manage the reception area, including welcoming customers and guests
- Manage company correspondence, including phone calls, emails, letters and packages
- Support HR activity, including recruitment, correspondence with candidates, introductions, and onboarding
- Organize meetings, schedule appointments, and oversee catering during company events
- Support Sales and Marketing staff with events
- Provide occasional executive/personal assistance to the leadership team
- Liaise with the landlord and suppliers regarding the office and facilities
- Perform data entry, including updating records and databases for personnel, financial, and legal information as required
- Manage inventory of office supplies, including stationery and multimedia equipment to ensure smooth office operations
- Create travel itineraries and make travel bookings for business executives, employees, and company events
- Handle office Health & Safety compliance and management
- 2+ years of relevant experience in similar roles
- Experience setting up a new office and company culture for an existing company entering a new market or a start-up in its beginning stages
- Experience within a stand-alone position ideal
- Strong Microsoft Office skills with programs such as Outlook and Excel
- Highly organized, able to manage tasks efficiently and maintain attention to detail
- Personable and approachable, with strong interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships
- Reliable and dependable, consistently meeting deadlines and commitments
- Strong ethics and integrity, upholding professional and ethical standards
- Excellent at prioritization, capable of handling multiple tasks effectively
- Effective communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Efficient and proactive, taking initiative and seeking solutions proactively
- Self-motivated, able to work independently with minimal supervision
