Job Title: Operations Clerk
Location: Livermore
Work Shift: M-F TBD
Hourly Pay Rate: $24/hr.
Type: Temp to Hire
 
Job Summary
As an Operations Clerk, you will play a pivotal role in supporting daily warehouse operations with a focus on office administration, material receiving, claims processing, and inventory control. This dynamic position requires a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
 
Key Responsibilities
General Office Support:

  • Answer phones, file documents, scan records, and perform other tasks using Microsoft Office applications.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail.
 
Warehouse Operations Support:
  • Assist with general warehouse activities and support overall operational flow.
  • Learn and execute local SAP transactions, including Ariba Purchasing.
 
Records Management:
  • Monitor records retention and disposal according to policies.
 
Payment and Claims Processing:
  • Coordinate and process health and pension payments.
  • Assist with processing inventory claims and maintaining accurate records.
 
Supply Management:
  • Manage and order office and operations supplies as needed.
  • Oversee vendor services, verify invoices, and facilitate payments.
 
Team & Policy Support:
  • Participate in team-building and problem-solving discussions to foster a positive workplace.
  • Support the implementation of company policies, goals, and objectives.
 
Training & Communication:
  • Ensure effective training delivery and oversee completion of training checklists.
  • Communicate effectively with other departments and warehouse locations as required.
 
Requirements
  • College education preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel; SAP experience is a plus.
  • Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently when required.
  • Previous experience in warehouse or operations support roles is beneficial.
