The RoleWe are seeking a detail-oriented Clerk to provide essential administrative and data support for our Houston operations. This role is foundational to our Records department, ensuring that all legal documentation is accurately processed, filed, and distributed. Essential Job Functions-
Document Processing: Facilitate the mail-out process, including faxing, mailing, and coordinating hand-serves of legal requests.

Data Entry: Accurately enter and update information within the internal database to track legal requests and custodian records.

Records Management: Save, scan, and organize all digital and physical documents to ensure easy retrieval for the team.

Quality Assurance: Conduct routine quality checks on all paperwork and entries to maintain the integrity of legal files.

Administrative Support: Assist with researching facility locations and contact information to ensure requests reach the correct destination.

Client Correspondence: Send status updates and confirmations via email to clients and internal departments.

General Office Duties: Maintain departmental logs and assist with daily administrative tasks as assigned by the Hiring Manager.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience: Minimum 1 year of relevant administrative or clerical experience.

Knowledge: Familiarity with legal terminology or litigation support is preferred but not required.

Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in data entry and filing.

Organizational Skills: Ability to manage high volumes of mail and digital records efficiently.

Reliability: Dependable performance with a strong commitment to meeting deadlines.

Technical Savvy: Proficient in MS Office (Outlook/Excel) and comfortable with scanning/faxing hardware.

Communication: Clear and professional communication style for internal and external correspondence.
