Packaging Line Operator 

Location: Regina, Saskatchewan

Schedule: Monday to Thursday- 10-hour day and afternoon shift

Pay: $20/hour + 5.77% vacation pay and $2.00 shift premium

Employment Type: Full-Time ASAP until end of June 2026

Position Overview

Work with a team of operators in the packaging department where on average, 35 million litres of products are packaged annually. This is done while maintaining safety, efficiency, and quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the efficient and accurate packaging of the companies' products
  • Maintain accurate packaging records by generating, entering, and confirming process orders on SAP
  • Continually improve departmental production quality, productivity, safety and morale by open communication and dialogue
  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot the equipment (fillers, air pumps, robots, case erectors, taping machines, etc.) in a safe, conscientious, and responsible manner, wearing the appropriate personal protective equipment, following Standard Operating Procedures and proper work methods, in accordance with Environmental, Health and Safety Standards
  • High level of housekeeping must be maintained and monitored within the team
  • Interact with other departments, through open communication, maintaining and promoting a positive working relationship ensuring the plant's function is effective and efficient. Effectively participate in sharing resources and knowledge throughout the Regina Plant to achieve high efficiencies
  • Willing to work occasional overtime shifts when required by business needs. This position requires participation in a shift rotation.

Qualifications

  • Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Reliable transportation
  • 2 – 5 years' experience in a production environment
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the job lifting up to 50LBS
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Computer proficiency and ability to use Microsoft office programs (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) are key
  • Ability to set priorities and make decisions in a dynamic, fast paced work environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Preferred Skills

· Eye for detail

  • SAP or similar ERP system experience is strongly preferred

· The selected candidate must be able to work rotating 10-hour day and afternoon shift every 2 weeks

  • Lean / Six Sigma training considered an asset

Physical Requirements

· Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 lbs.

· Use of PPE required on the production floor.

· Physical activities include standing, walking, climbing, lifting, pushing/pulling, crouching, and grasping.
